BodyTite Shreveport, LA

BodyTite is a minimally invasive device that uses RFAL (radio-frequency assisted lipolysis) to achieve body contouring and refining. The results BodyTite produces were previously only possible with invasive excisional surgeries.

If you’ve ever wanted body contouring or refinement but don’t want the long downtimes or risks of surgery, BodyTite may be an option for you.

Our bodies are just as much a reflection of our age as our faces. With BodyTite, Dr. Forrest Wall can sculpt your body to achieve the youthful appearance you want.

How Does BodyTite Work?

Directional radio-frequency assisted lipolysis powers BodyTite.

During your BodyTite procedure, your Dr. Wall will inject a small amount of numbing fluid into the relevant area.

Next, he will make tiny incisions, each a few millimeters in length.

The numbing solution includes a small dose of epinephrine, which minimizes the risk of bleeding and also minimizes bruising.

The BodyTite hand piece includes a thin wand, which your doctor will place underneath the skin. This wand will transmit radio-frequency energy back to the hand piece on top of the skin. This creates heat, which melts the fat in the treatment area and tightens skin. The radio frequency-energy also stimulates the growth of new collagen, which further tightens and lifts the treatment area.

This process will produce a body contouring result superior to liposuction in areas with skin laxity.

What are the Results of BodyTite?

The results of your procedure will become apparent within two weeks. More dramatic improvements in body shape and skin quality will become apparent over the following months. This is due to the stimulation of new collagen in the body.

BodyTite does not have any extensive recovery times like liposuction or other invasive procedures. Most plastic surgeons recommend two days of time away from work, and a few more days away from strenuous physical activity.

For example, if you have the procedure on Friday, you can be back at the office on Monday and back at the gym on Wednesday.

What is the Cost of BodyTite?

Like most cosmetic procedures, the price of BodyTite will vary depending on your surgeon and your location. It also depends on the area of your body your doctor treats with BodyTite.

For instance, a quick procedure in a small area might not be that expensive, but extensive body contouring over a large portion of the body is going to cost you.

Your doctor’s location will also affect your costs. In some parts of the country, BodyTite may be quite expensive, while in other parts of the country it will be less so.

But it is inadvisable to choose a facility and a plastic surgeon based on price. Remember, this person is going to be placing tools under your skin. You want them to have the experience, even if it costs you more money.

Insurance is unlikely to pay for BodyTite, as it is a voluntary cosmetic procedure.

If you and your doctor decide that BodyTite is an option for you, ask them about financing plans. Some doctors may offer this to enable their clients to pay for their services.

What are the Side Effects of BodyTite?

The side effects of BodyTite are minimal and usually fade within a few days of the procedure. They include:

These are primarily a result of the heat passing between the top layer of the skin. But BodyTite handpiece provides constant feedback to your surgeon regarding the temperature of your skin, so any serious side-effects are unlikely.
